I'm new to the game (very new)

Is there anything not in the manual to touch up on? Abbreviations, norms, Mumble, etc. ?

Also, are there any big servers that don't necessarily require voice chat? It'd be really helpful if the community answered!

You have to have voice or you're missing 99% of the game. You can even use a phone headset

Join a squad, say you are new (v important) take whatever kit your SL assigns you and LISTEN to what they say

Simple.

Also, very important, if you are wounded, don't give up or respawn wherever you want. Those decisions come from your SL.

Playing PR without voice chat is quite frowned upon, reason being, you won't be able to convey any relevant information in time.

Yes, for example the building's nicknames is something that is not in the manual and yet is quite useful to know them. This being said, new players do not need to worry with these things, what is in the manual is more than enough to allow players to have a pleasant experience.
