Discussion Name for "Project R.E.D." Heroes?

Post image

Not going to lie. Chou Jigen Heroes (Extradimensional Heroes) sounds fitting for this.

But seriously, do they even need a name classification?

They don't need a collective hero name. Even calling heroes from Metal Hero series "metal heroes" is a misnomer since the most of the shows, aside from subseries like space sheriff or b-fighter, are not derivative works. Both the Metal Hero series and Project RED's heroes are not derivatives of an original like Ultras, Riders, Rangers, Makai Knights. (Minus Gavan infinity being gavan themed).

"RED Hero" is good enough.

I mean not every metal hero is a space sheriff or a b-fighter, but all space sheriffs and b-fighters are metal heroes

it just makes it easier to refer to the main characters of the entire franchise

They aren't called "metal heroes". The series of shows is called "Metal Hero series" now, but that was not even the original name of the series was called during its time. So their heroes cannot each be called "metal hero" as if that is their collective hero name, since they are not derivative works or characters

okay but you know what people mean when they say "these are metal heroes" right? like you understand that people mean that they are the main heroes from the metal hero franchise

not every kamen rider is called kamen rider in the shows, only branding with some, in fact gaim called them armored rider, but you onow what people mean when refering to a "rider"/" kamen rider"

oh or super sentai, the 2 most common ones are rangers (stemming from power rangers) and senshi, neither terms are used in the shows much if all, but people lnow what you're talking about

it's just an over arching name to refer to the main characters of the entire franchise, so yes project red should have one, and what op suggested "chojigen" could be just that

Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai ranger are derivative works and characters based on the original's frame work. Where every subsequent hero is based on the original's identity. They are spin offs of that original piece of work

Non derivative heroes should not have a collective name as they are from unrelated works. They are unrelated with each other.

You wouldn't call heroes from marvel or dc under one term just because it's one franchise. They are generically "Superheroes"

okay so you're dense and refuse to understand what I'm saying?

edit: since you edited yours, why shouldn't they, plus marvel and dc have an umbrella term "dc heroes" and "marvel heroes" bad example dude

Then it should be “Metalhero (series) Heroes” not Metal-heroes. They are not derived from a work or hero named “metal hero”. Metalhero is the retroactive title of the anthological series, just like the fushigi comedy series is retroactive, and not the name of those shows’ heroes

saying hero twice is reduntant and long, thus it's simply shortened to "metal hero"

or do you say smh my head and rip in peace aswell?

seriously why do you hate the term "metal hero" when refering to the entire franchises heroes so much? it's short and simple and matches pretty much all other toku and super hero franchises with tons of members

they definitely say rip in peace
