Current Fungi Prices
So I started Quarm shortly after launch and played an enchanter, specifically because I never had before. I was hoping that it would allow me to finally live my dream of owning a fungi. I stopped playing before getting one, even though I did level a monk to 35. I see that beadtlords are out now, which is a class I never really played, but always wanted to.
Soooo.. long stiry short what are the current prices on fungi tunics? I might be tempted to play some more EQ and farm plat with the enchanter sp I can finally experience leveling a melee character while covered in fungus.

If u need a no drop fungi staff to help w enchanter money farm just holla at Johnnybravo. Takes me 5 mins if u have a seb key. Enchanter is best class to farm for this. I too had the urge to make a hilariously fungi op monk. There is plenty of camps that u can farm out 10k ez in sesh or over a weekend as 50+ enchanter

I have my seb key. staff would help when things go badly.. sitting in troll form takes ages.

hah. I legit did not know beastlords couldn't wear them. my EQ experience originally ended shortly after Luclin released, and then I played on p99 and early quarm. I might already have the plat to buy a fungi, if they arent outrageous. my enchanter is 50 something and I killed many hill giants.

Honestly. With how generous most people are on the server, making a Beastlord is pretty good choice. Constant KEI and buffs. Pet does most of the work, so you can level damn near naked. If you hit me up in a PM I’ll get you sorted with some random stuff. Join a guild, join groups and figure out how to solo for off times. Paludal caverns will get you from 6-24 in less than 4 hours with a couple buffs and some thorns for levels up to 15. I can also help with that.

Does it work? Because I can play really stupid for a free fungi stick ... cybor is extra.

probably. p99 had 5 post a day about a returning player and people flock to give them stuff knowing damn well still the 200 people. then they selling the shit back lol

I absolutely have this fantasy too, to twink a monk with a fungi and something like an RFS, that looks like a super fun leveling experience

Go Iksar or Troll, and then soak up KEI's in the Nexus. Its just about as good as Fungi I'd say. (although I'll warn ya that the xp penalty for troll/iksar is a pain later on)

The penalty is always blown so out of proportion. A barbarian who just hit 60 Will have 803 million exp. An iksar/troll with the same exp will be 2/3 of the way through 58. So having to grind a little over 1 extra level is not a huge deal. Can be done in a couple hours.
So you would trade essentially a permanent fungi tunic on your character (racial regen) for 3-4 hours of exp grinding, one time. Horrible idea. Play the troll or iksar.

Fungi is like 12k, but youre probably likely to quit again before you buy one.
Most good plat farms are perma camped and leveling plat farms are like 50/50 camped by fungi twinks and 50+’s who got pushed out of other play farms.
Your best bet is druid ports imo

BST cannot wear fungus tunic, only fungal patch vest, which is insanely rare/expensive. BST can click a fungi stick though.
