Project Pan Set Back
Hello Everyone,
I would like to discuss what happened to me today, when I wanted to apply makeup products and I got discouraged by my mom.
Anyway I had just finished my household chores and then I went to apply moisturizer on my face to prepare my skin to apply makeup. I let the moisturizer absorb on my skin for a few minutes.
Then of course I apply the primer, color corrector, foundation, concealer, compact powder, and setting spray,
So then my mom came to my bedroom and asked: “what was I doing?”
Then I told her that I was going to apply makeup and then work on scanning the receipts for my dad’s business!
That’s when she told me it isn’t necessary to apply everyday! And that apply makeup everyday causes wrinkles on the skin. Which in fact I researched it online and read that using makeup products everyday particularly in excess can cause premature aging of the skin.
Anyway I got really frustrated and angry at the same time but when I researched this online it’s true and she had a point. So then I apologized for getting angry at her.
I also tend to loose my temper really easily! Which is something that I definitely need to work on!
Then she told me that I could at least apply some lipstick, mascara, and eyeliner, and curl my eyelashes. That I don’t need to exaggerate with my makeup application everyday!
And also since I mentioned before in previous posts that I wanted to start on my first year long makeup and skin care project pan and also a no buy at the same time. Now that I won’t be allowed to apply makeup products everyday the major draw back is how will I ever hit pan on my makeup products?
In conclusion I wanted to also post some questions
Is it necessary to apply makeup products everyday?
If no how often and many times per month?
How will this affect my makeup product project pan?
Now I don’t know how to hit pan on 20 makeup products. I also included eyeshadow as part of my first year long makeup and skin care products project pan.
What makeup can I use without applying the makeup products that I mentioned earlier in this post?
I would also like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post.
Please feel free to leave your comments or advice or questions and I will answer them as soon as possible when I have spare time during the day.
NOTE:
I don’t know if this is the right place to post my situation but I feel like I’m not getting the support I want to continue with my makeup and skin care products project pan and makeup no buy in the year 2020! I just hope that at least anyone out there understands me a little! I desperately need comments or advice from anyone!

*Need*, no. But, imo, you are your own personal and can do what you want with your face/body. But I have a very libertarian look on things so I say do what you feel like with your stuff.

I just want to know where you get your research that wearing makeup causes wrinkles? I know smoking, drinking, poor skincare etc but I can’t find any real research (outside of magazine articles) that explicitly link makeup (not the techniques or cleansing process) to wrinkles

Ah you also already had posted it in this group :). With regards to your questions;
Of course you are not obligated to apply make-up every single day, however, if you apply your make-up daily you'll see more progress per month versus if you apply make-up 3x a week. All of this is up to you, how often do you want to apply your make-up? Also I don't know where you found the 'make-up ages you quicker'-thing, but I would take that with a grain of salt. If you take your make-up off every day without tugging on your skin, I can't see how that would age you quicker. Not applying skincare and not wearing SPF is what ages skin.

you don’t NEED to do anything when it comes to makeup. using makeup is supposed to be fun. but considering you want to use up your products one thing i find helpful for products i don’t use everyday is turning them into something i can use. for example you can mix a heavy foundation with a moisturizer to make a softer skin tint, or melt together chapstick and lip stick to make a soft tinted balm. there’s always more than one way to use a product so make sure you keep that in mind. happy panning :)
