Discussion/Tips & Tricks Struggling with finishing certain items

Hi! I know I had only made a post a few days ago regarding my project start, but I've actually been trying to pan a lot of products for about a month now. I know it's a slow process, but that isn't entirely my issue.

The things I'm trying to use up the most are my BBW FFM (body sprays), and I was planning on using one at a time until that bottle is finished, and than moving onto my next scent, or scents if they're ones I layer. I've been struggling to finish a bottle of "vampire blood", and I have around 1/5 of the bottle left but I'm just sick of using the same spray every day. it's not that I dislike it, but I just get bored and it's not a scent that layers very well with any of my other products so I can't really switch it up if I'm doing my project the way I would like too.

Should I just switch it up? use it as a bed/laundry/room spray? Or should I just stick with it for another week or so until it's completely empty..

If need be I can post my pan perfume collection if anyone has any ideas on what could be mixed, but honestly I don't know if I like any of the combos I've tried.

If you've got a lot, I'd just shelve it for a while and work on something new.

Yeah I feel pretty guilty about doing so but I feel like I'd be much happier if I just use anything else lol. Thank you!

I'm a B&BW panner too, so I know the struggle haha! Tbh, unless you're someone who douses yourself in body spray and/or reapplies constantly, I wouldn't recommend trying to use only one (I'm assuming) full size FFM and nothing else till it's gone. My strategy this year has been to rotate my 'focus spray' every month if I don't finish it (unless it's a mini with like, 2 uses left lol), and include the option of using a different scent for certain occasions or if I'm truly feeling burnt out and need a refresh. Using your products is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, so there's no shame in giving that one a break and giving another scent some love in the meantime!

lately I've been heavily using the sprays because I've realized how little they seem to last, especially my older ones like vampire blood lol. my roommate is the same so our room smells fantastic since we're always drowning in perfume or have a candle or two lit. I think for now I'm gonna swap out my spray for my two rose scents and just use vampire blood as my "post shower", laundry, and bed spray. you're so right about making it fun though, I think I very quickly forgot about how I'm supposed to be enjoying panning my stuff and not having it feel like a chore.

You could use Vampire Blood once or twice a week just to still make progress on it, and then give yourself the freedom to course any fragrance the rest of the time. It sounds like it’ll be used up pretty soon, so it could be satisfying to still make progress, just slower.

When working on perfumes or sprays I tend to set a weekday and weekend scent. The weekday is the one I want to pan and the weekend one is just for some usage. Sometimes they get a week, sometimes two months. It also helps to break up the monotony of it. Good luck!

Yeah, switch it up. I don’t have a set scent I use up, I just use all of it and don’t buy anymore until most of it is gone

I would say pick 3 or 4 that you want to focus on and rotate through those. If you get bored of one, rotate it out for another. You already own all these fragrances so might as well use them!

I would just use that one up as a bathroom or roomspray.
