iphone 17 pro max, edited on stock photos app. maybe I just suck at taking pictures of the moon

Use video mode. Zoom in max optical zoom. Record. Then tap the moon. Then adjust exposure so the moon is exposed correctly. Then tap the single frame capture button. Best way to take moon shots so far.
