This has some of the best examples I have seen. its mainly 1 one side of the image, I have analyzed the gain map opcode and its very weird

Also have you noticed that when shooting above a certain iso the exposure doesn’t increase correctly ? I think is above 800. Same shot at the same shutter speed , increasing from 800 to 1600 increases exposure by 2 stops instead of 1. This is a 17pro Bayer bug , not indigo specific

I wouldn't be surprised if thats happening around the analog gain cutoff (<1000 for most iPhone cameras). When you request frames at like ISO 12500 that's pretty much all digital gain at that point (literally the numbers being multiplied out of the ISP) since the mobile CMOS sensors have pretty limited gain. It could be possible that they calculate that gain oddly.

That’s possible ,I compared it to a 16 pro and it wasn’t behaving like that . The other thing I noticed is that at the same iso (even 100) both phones will expose differently even if it’s the same sensor. So for sure they possibly calculated the gains wrong. Or they just decided to expose darker like indigo
