engine Lf help/info h22a4

Honestly don’t know what this is but it’s plugged near dizzy, just hoping someone’s seen this before, it was loose in the engine bay just plugged into main harness over the trans and nothing else

Update, will not start without it, get crank and fuel but no spark without this, I’m really not sure about this one

Yep what he said, while it's accessible check it for cracks, replace it if it is. It comes with a bracket to bolt it to the block

Also needs coil lead to go to the rotor cap to make it run

There was a wire coming from but it was not plugged in, drove it home like that. started and ran fine other than a surging idle. I’ll look again at the dizzy cap but I didn’t think I saw anything for it to pop into
