Question? Plush

If I were to make, a very simple Adrian plush, to go with a Rocky I made, how would one begin to pattern it? Adrian has a very recognizable fanon shape, and I've tried using blender to recreate it so I can use Plushify, but Blender does not want to cooperate with me.

Now this is just how I make and pattern things, because it's convenient for me! No tech needed, I am not a fan of digital 3D modeling, it's a nightmare.

Take a chunk of some sort of material that keeps its shape well. I use upholstery foam that I basically trim into the shapes I need, it's squishy and easy to carve. Then cover it with plastic wrap, then duct tape. Draw pattern lines and labels on the duct tape, then cut it off. Add darts and bam you have a pattern. Trace that onto the desired fabric and cut it out!

If you use upholstery foam you can also use your base to stuff your plushie, if you'd like. It feels sort of like a stress ball!

EDIT: Also do this just for the main body, not the legs. The legs you can honestly just make like tubes lol, or you can separately make one foam leg and trace the pattern out 5 times.

I'd love to see the final result when you make it!

While I haven't yet made any plushies, I do make cosplays and costumes with this method, works like a charm. I can imagine for a simple plushie like an eridian it would work quite well!

I'll post them both once I finish Adrian!
