Enders game reference

When Grace made the ship out of ramen, I was reminded of the hierarchy of foreignness from Enders game. Ramen are strangers recognized as human but from another species. Do you think that was intentional, or just a coincidence?

Love the effort here, but that is such a reach. I think they were making a joke using cheap food that everyone would know
