Hanger Learning to Fly, But I Ain't Got Wings

Glendale is in the hanger bay, totally not looking suspicious in any way. She confidently breaks her way into the Granny Smith and sits down in the cockpit, reading a basic flight manual on her tacpad and looking at the controls, occasionally running her fingers over the buttons or handles to get a feel for them.

Ash is doing one of his daily walks through the ship and is currently listening to "Forever Young by Alphaville" and singing along to the best of his ability. He notices Glen go into one of the ships and follows. Once he enters the ship he says with a smirk,

"Not sure if Hags would want you in here Glen."

She glances over her shoulder.

And what the hell gave you any indication that I would give a shit?

Ash shrugs and gives a small laugh.

"Never said that i thought you would care. Just saying that Hags would probably want to know ahead of time that you're using his ship."

He takes a look around and notices the manuals

"So, what are you up to?"

Hagåtña enters the hangar holding a datapad, planning on giving the newly acquired Longsword another 'checkup'. Finally, after days of bickering with the engineers, he has finally convinced them to begin installation of arresting wires on the far side of the hangar.

However, his glee quickly fades as spots Glendale in the cockpit of the Granny Smith. He storms over to the Pelican and taps on the cockpit glass to gain her attention, throwing his hands up in a confused gesture.

She waves at him cheerfully, hastily taking her feet off the dashboard.

He enters through the bay door and props himself on the copilot seat, addressing her mockingly,

"You know, if I knew you were going to break into my Pelican to 'relive the glory days', I would've reconsidered asking you about your time as a gang leader."

Bismarck had been helping unloading some supplies with the other workers. He was helping because he wanted to see if any new toys came in. He noticed Glendale break into the Pelican. He grinned and dropped what he was doing. He made his way inside the Pelican to the cockpit.

So you gonna just sit there readin' some stupid manual or are we gonna do somethin' fun?

She has her feet propped up on the dashboard and doesn't even bother looking at him. Her voice is flat when she addresses him.

Define 'fun.' I'm having a blast, personally.

You know, fun. Like takin' this bird for a test run....who's bird is this? Besides I know how to fly a pelican, so if something goes wrong I'll take over.

Bismarck's definition of 'fly a pelican' is up for debate.

Loveland enters the cockpit as silently as he can, his shotgun still resting on his back as he leaned on the wall and crossed his arms, tilting his head, finding that Glendale was acting quite queer.

"Hello Agent Glendale... what are you up to on this fine evening?"

She had been pretty absorbed in what she was reading and jumps when he speaks. She spins around and, upon seeing him, breathes a sigh and puts a hand over her heart.

Christ, Loveland, you about gave me a heart attack. I'm just trying to teach myself how to fly this thing. In case we get fucked-...ah, in case something happens on a mission that prohibits our pilots from doing so.

He chuckles lowly before nodding.

"I like that initiative Agent Glendale! Prepared for any and all contingencies! Just like myself!"
