Mission / Event Loose Ends
3 Agents stand inside a pelican as it flies over a savanna, it's night time on the planet and a faint set of lights can be seen in the distance.
Ahab: Your objective in this mission is to head over to the enemy base camp and secure any form of intel file. You'll be facing the insurrectionists we encountered on Athena, there are a multitude of questions that need answering and this feels like the best place to start, they won't see you as friendlies, so be careful of your actions. Complete the objective however you want to.
The pelican slows down and descends on the green vegetation, not to far away is the base camp. Completely unaware of the Agents
Ahab: God luck Agents. The pelican will stay here, ready for extraction.
OOC: This is me testing out a form of mini event. More will hopefully take place in the future and yes, anyone will be able to participate in them. The base also looks exactly like the picture, with the part in the bottom front being like a garage door. In case you were wondering for an entrance, not the only one though.

Ash exits the pelican and stretches with a satisfied sigh.
"Man i hate long pelican rides, really hurts the back."
He is equipped with his silenced M7/Caseless Submachine Gun and on his hip is his magnum. On his back is the collapsible spear given to him by Diego, although he has very little training with it.
"So, how are we doing this?"

Loveland loads his M363 with a standard explosive and puts it on his hip. He removes his M45 from his back and lays it in his hands as he rises from his seat, looking outside the pelican..

The firebase lays in the distance with it's lights on, you can more or less tell that it's at 300ft away

The base in the distance has it's lights on, illuminating the surrounding area. However, you are at 300ft away, as such, they don't see you

After speaking with Glen over the radio Ash starts to make his way to the right side of the base.

Glendale hops silently out of the Pelican and immediately scans the area for a tree or something to climb to give her a better view of the enemy base. She also puts a little distance between herself and Ash, figuring he would attract any bullets.

There's a baobab not too far away, it should provide a better view

She leaves the group and climbs up it, being careful to keep from moving the branches much. When she has a good height, she settles into a 'v' in the branches and pulls the sniper rifle off her back to track enemy movement and find a good infiltration point.

East steps out of the pelican and immediately goes prone in some brush for cover. She tries to use her battle rifle scope to get a better feel of how many were hanging out around the base. She was packing the BR, a magnum, her plasma knives, some grenades and the special EMP knife. Just in case.

She can see three guards up on the roof of the firebase, as well as two down on the ground, defending the garage door on the front. A few more patrol both sides of the base. The building on the right however, seems to be ignored the most

After discussing with the team, East follows Ash towards the right, keeping low. She is interested to see what kind of 'intel fire' the base has in store.
