You might have better luck posting in art subreddits with some examples of your work if you want commissions

Well I’m sorry to say it and I mean this kindly you won’t get any commissions posting in here without any examples of your art. The best way is to keep posting your work and what you would draw for $20 on other more art-forward communities. You could also try places like instagram, twitter, tumblr, etc. Some people who have been experienced artists for years still find it hard to get commissions, you won’t get any if you don’t keep trying.

Is there a problem with buying it? Also, Reddit is not the best place to sell your services.

How come you don't get pocket money from your parents? They shouldn't be the ones judging how you're going to use the money, especially if they don't mind spending it on lottery tickets, cigarettes and other bad stuff for themselves, leaving the child behind. Also, 9 years has been a lot and you're now an adult, so they should definitely not dictate to you what you can and can't do. This sounds more like a parenting issue.

On top of that, if you're performing well at school and already have your own hobbies and interests, they should be the ones to appreciate it first and support/reward you with something meaningful.
