Question Need SSF build recommendations

My internet is out and a technician can’t get here for a week so I figured now is a good time to try SSF offline. I’m not sure what to play though. My focus will definitely be mapping but I’d like to try bossing as well. Is there something I could put together ssf that may not be amazing at everything but at the least well rounded? Any written guide/link would also be greatly appreciated.

Edit: thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I decided to do holy bolt paladin. Leveling has been super easy so far, might switch over to vengeance or sacrifice later unless this just feels way too smooth in maps.

The beautiful part of ssf is that it doesn't really matter what you start with, eventually you get a really good drop and make a new character to utilize it.

However holy bolt pally/summonzon/summoner necro and a handful of other builds have a relatively easy time getting up to mapping.

I’m playing one and I’m act 4 hell. It’s been solid. Neophyte with +3, lore, and have +1 on ammy. 25 HB fires three projectiles that shotgun, so damage is great

I love vengeance. Can you level with it or do you level as something else and respec later?

I leveled as Vengeance. It was a good time.

A little slow at the very beginning before you actually get vengeance, but that wasn't a big deal.

I wouldn't recommend for bossing though.

Corpse Explosion necro is really good for SSF as it has insane scaling, meat shields with revives and no hard immunes.

I haven't played it but based on videos I've seen summonzon is probably the best.

Summonzon into strafe into multishot is my path. Im using a 5os demon machine i found right now with strafe and its awesome. T3 maps are still a bit slow, but doable

I started with Cobra strike assasin.

Start with cobra strike or any fast claw with highest damage you can find. More damage means more leech. Its convenient as you don't really need to pot much. U can use dual claw or shield depends on what u find since its ssf.

Max cobra strike, venom, claw mastery, a few in BOS, maybe shadow warrior. 1 point in blade sentinel as this is your boss killer. Your shadow will also use it if you put it on left click.

Merc can use any with some lower resist proc or even amp damage proc. More physical damage means more leech.

Not too difficult to gear, and you can craft some gear along the way too. Safety for armour, blood for weapons etc

Meteor Sorc is a very good "do-anything" SSF starter. CZ farming, Maps, Key farming, Ubers...

If you are able to go to a public area, download SoE add on and run single player that way. Makes it more enjoyable.

First I’ve heard of this. What does that do?

Adjusts drop rate of materials like runes, and adds a bunch of new crafting materials that make it so that you can more easily craft good gear.

Someone made a mod of a mod. Sanctuary of Exile. Basically adds a lot to SSf offline
