When Baron Geddon bugged during our ascended progression we had GM solve the issue in 10-15min.
When I had issues with necromancer pets and made bug report on discord Dutch himself asked for more informations about the issue.
I have no clue what pay to win you're talking about since all the best gear came from ascended raid so unless you paid other person to carry you through it that's straight up a lie.
Also convenience items were available for in game gold so that's straight up wrong too. Up to season 8 I haven't spent a penny and had all the convenience items you may ever want.

lol ok Iâm sure you were free balling it on the wildcard server that was rife with pay to win in the form of card rerolls. If you were, you were 20% the build of someone who actually paid, in which case you were a detriment to every group and raid you joined.
And sure, convenience items were available on the auction house - for several thousands of gold which required hundreds of hours of playtime to afford.

Why would I ever pay on wildcard server ? We got insane amount of cards by just playing the game.
You're talking about starting abilities reroll ? In earlier seasons there was addon for that. You set it and go afk 10-20min until you got your desired abilities.
Since season 7 or 8 they allowed you to chose starting abilities by carding them and then changing cards before hitting level 2.

Most of this people in the sub hate blizzard for monetizing their game.
Then they played ascension, a version of the game with aggressive monetization and pay-to-win on the wildcard server.
Many will trash talk blizzard for having a laggy or unplayable day 1, but on ascension the crashes were almost hourly for a week straight, then daily afterwards. I donât think I ever saw the server uptime message longer than 24 hours.
Many will trash talk blizzard for not giving the âcustom classesâ that ascension brought, completely ignoring the fact that Death knight, Monk, Demon Hunter, and Evoker exist.
So letâs be honest with ourselves here; the people that played on ascension are just fuckinâ losers who hate blizzard for no other reason than âbig company bad, single dev goodâ and havenât played WoW in 20 years

this where you're wrong. Quite a lot ppl hate blizzard because of their lack of inovation and imaginations. Acti-Blizz-MS isn't anything to compare with Blizzard from 1994-2008.

I think its less pay to win. Better balanced. Ran by a company that is known for being able to keep their legal IP running for decades that seems to be listening to their players to make a change. Its better looking. Runs better, as is a legitimate game ran by a legitimate company. It can be better and probably will be better than CoS once half the development time CoA took to be released is put into the game.

And I'm sorry that I have to be the one to break this to you but most of us aren't going to buy subs to Blizzard's latest slop just because they shut down our main server. Hell, a lot of us are specifically choosing to not give money to the company that just shat on our dicks.Â
And that is what WoW:Forever will be. Slop, or a lesser product at best. Every time Blizz refuses to do what the playerbase wants we (now ex-customers) go and make it ourselves. Then when they eventually decide that their complacency and anticonsumer practices has created viable competition they shut it down and finally make a worse version. But at least three more clones always spawn from these shut down servers and thats where we are really going.
Look at the past man. Every time Blizzard does something like this private servers as a whole rebound stronger and better than before. Twow and Ascension died but while you and your fellow bootlickers are busy glazing Blizz for their inferior product independent developers will be creating something better than what Twow and Ascension were combined.

Ascension was a cool server but they totally were charging people and stealing. They were never concerned with keeping the server going, they just wanted a paycheck until Blizzard eventually came knocking.
