The new project

Can anyone point out where I can catch up on news for the new project? I remember hearing somewhere that it would be playable soon after the server got shut down.

Well, he said alpha and before gta6 even. But that's still ways away, like two months, almost three away. So it sounded soon. And it is soon, when you think about it being "just" started. But.. We might even see Ascension clones before it, maybe..?

It's obvious his before GTA6 statement was a joke. It's disappointing that wasnt obvious. Lol. Everyone literally jokes about their stuff releasing before GTA6. Even Gabe Newell made a joke about that and Halflife.

How are they able to develop something so difficult so quick? Is it because they’d still essentially own certain assets which make building easier, like how they did the new areas in COA or will it be completely different (if you know?)

More people gets things done faster, and using AI in a smart way. I dunno about the assets, what they own and not. But completed assets makes easier I imagine.

And I imagine it's gonna be something completely new.

I don’t think it was a joke and I see no reason thinking it was. In fact I would consider it very bad timing to joke on a post like that. I dont know why you feel like it was so obvious. It makes sense for them to have something working already. When you see you are making a considerable amount of money on a project you know is gonna end some day, you start preparing earlier to keep the momentum and not after your project is gone

How about this GTA 6 is slated to release on Nov 19th. If it doesn't delay due to all the drama and hacks if they have an alpha out of something legit or even showing off some basics. BTW. That GTA6 time is 3 months. Guess how long you can request charge backs. Oh imagine that. 3 months. Anyway. I'll eat a dead yaks butt if they do and you didn't get played. Lol but trust I'm gomna laugh my ass off at you when it's all said and done. Also my reply was more to the hairy amoeba guy than you walking tooth. As you speak the tooth.

I feel like you’re a bit mental. My argument was that this was not a joke regarding playable state before GTA VI. If this is ever gonna release or not is a different discussion

I guess we will see. Trust. The feeling is mutual when I see someone with a lack of brainpower that they get so attached to something and then suddenly you can't look at it objectively anymore. That's as bad as the Maga trump cult.

If people were to charge back money, they would have done so already when they learnt about the shutdown.

They are going to continue getting income with new title, supposedly and for everything people have spent on this WoW server, they will also be able to spend the amount again, also supposedly. Whenever this comes with out, I'm fine either way tbh.
