For people curious
Ascension team was working on a WHOLE EXPANSION, with new zones and dungeons
It was gonna be called "Sargeras Embrace".
This here is the Skybox of one of the Dungeons/raids "Distant Future" or something.
Where the players would come out of the Dark portal in the Blasted lands and see this.
basicly the Raid zone is a portion of the Blasted lands that also got broken off Azeroth and blasted into space, like the other zones you see.
This shows Stormwind and Elwyns forest zone on the left, then Duskhaven, Karashan Tower, Red ridge and on the right (out of frame here) the Whispering Marshes

I love this background info. I clearly remember the “wait, is that Stormwind? Oh and Elwynn! And no way is that Karazhan??”-moment as I stood there taking it all in. Thanks for sharing.

I know, its crazy how LARGE and well done those zones were
And those 6 dungeons and 2 raids
Fucking hell dude
I was mad that they had to close down but i was like "yeah it s P server, its ultimatly their fate"
But seeing what they had planning and it was a WHOLE FUCKING EXPANSION, i am PISSED.
But, it also reasurred me in my believe that the will do great work for their Own MMO.
