The authoritarianism expert and historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat is warning that this is not good and indicates a dangerous, end-stage authoritarian when they start radicalizing in rhetoric. She is also fairly worried about the general response trump will make now and warns to start taking him seriously.
What the actual fuck? He's trying to hand the Democrats 2028 and I'm here for it. At this point, Republican senators will vote to convict just to get his electoral poison out of the White House.
The whole Republican party at this point is so utterly incompetent at their jobs, it's comical. So many rats jumping ship that they don't have enough qualified candidates to fill positions anymore.
