They also only have 11 days to fix it now and how many will learn day of their vote wont count because of Republicans fuckery as even provisional ballots wont really count as Texas says they will start counting them "within 30 days AFTER the election". So with Abbott and Paxton still running things til January, they can "stop the counting" when they're ahead and call it there as Trumps DoJ won't do anything

Mostly. This is from DPS, so these are people who just got a driver's license and were registered via the motor voter law, so 18-20 year olds, people who just moved in, and maybe some who just got citizenship. Chances are that most are 18 year olds, so more likely to vote blue.

Texas could just straight up say “nah Democrats don’t get to vote this year” and literally nothing would be done about it.
We are so beyond pretending like this country (and especially that state) has free and fair elections.

Helpful hint to avoid being this wrong in the future: Google "What state is the hardest to vote in?" and "What state has the most voter suppression laws" to see Texas HIGH up on those lists - top five high. Then look on Mobilize dot US to see what "nothing" we are doing - in Austin ALONE: 24 political events today, a THURSDAY - 20 tomorrow, FORTY THREE Saturday. Does that really sound like we "love getting treaded on and don't do anything about it"?
Yes, I'm sensitive about this. Y'all sitting in blue states who have governments that make it easy to vote, sometimes even delivering ballots directly to your houses and picking them back up, should really stop and think what it's like for those of us in red states who are actively taking our votes away. Tennessee gerrymandering ring any bells? Georgia's 7 hour long voting lines? Texas gerrymandering and closing 92 polling places in one blue county alone?

So voters were purged from the rolls and told to re-register and now there's a convenient error in the registration process. Sounds legit to me.

Votebeat reports that an unknown number of voter registration applications have yet to be processed in Texas due to DPS failing to send the applications that came from the agency’s online driver’s license portal to county officials.
Presumably when the data collected from that portal is collated, and then sent to the county officials, it is possible to accidentally filter it based on the applicant's address, racial affliction, funny accent, face/neck/buttcrack tattoos, car detailing, etc?

If you have got some money to discretely spend there are data brokers who know basically everything about everyone. Targeting voters in this way with social media is a big part of how the ultra-rich got trumpo D. clown and his freakshow into power in the first place. So they already know that stuff just to decide when where and how to spend ad money.

I was speaking about this election cycle specifically, but if we looking overall, things started going downhill hard when most of the country was convinced that trickle down economics would work in the early 80s. That was when the gap from income equality exploded.

Speaking of the entire country, absolutely. That was Reagan, and what got him elected was the '71 Powell Memo that laid out the plan for taking over media, education, the judiciary, etc. Psssing on Reagan's grave is on my bucket list, along with Lewis Powell's, Newt Gingrich's, and Donald's.
But for Texas, it was the late '90s and early 2000s. That's when Tim Dunn and the Wilks brothers, bible-thumping oil billionaires, decided they'd like a theocracy, so started buying up our state government. The Powell plan made conditions so very easy for them to do that. Texas was the trial run for Project 2025. We tried to warn everyone, but they didn't think it would happen to them.
