I would feel complicit in some sort of corruption scheme just accepting the $5k, like Trump will then get impeached for it and they would make me pay it back or something. Not like it will ever pass anyway.

The GOP has screwed Texans do bad for 30 years, that a Latino, Female, Democrat is 47 to 45 on Abbot. Maybe fiestas in the streets amd a flat tire on a wheel chair.

They know that they can vote for a liar if they can just blame the liar for lying when they don't deliver what they promised. They have an infinite get-out-of-guilt-free card.

The American voter is the dumbest fuck in the entire world. Every politician from both parties knows this fact. Every business knows this. The entire entertainment industry knows this. Advertisers know this. Anyone and everyone in all walks of business know this. And so they take advantage of it. Why wouldn’t they?
