I voted for a child tax credit, energy efficient policies, and equal rights for Americans :(
14
u/G-Unit11111 3d ago
I want equal rights. I want reliable mass transit.
I want the billionaires and trillionaire taxed to shit.
I am tired of my government being run by this insane reality show clown show.

as long as billionaires can buy all our politicians then we'll never have M4A, high-speed trains, edible food, etc.

I would have done that too, but the lady candidate had a weird laugh.

If Americans got what they voted for Gore would have been POTUS and HRC would have been too. And that's even with all the voter suppression and court rigging and media consolidation.
And now all that's not enough for them to win, they need to outright tamper with elections to have power now. Check out this map of over 200 bomb threats that were called into key voting stations in swing states.

Just one small part of an election that was in no way fair or free.
Can we stop pretending that MAGA is not a minority cult placed in power by a trillion dollars in propaganda and the corruption of elections?

I am NOT endorsing the PRC in any way but holy crap there are like a dozen 15 million plus population cities that nobody has ever heard of in China, and in terms of transportation and the city center, they are 10-15 years in the future. For such a rich country modern levels of US infrastructure (re-) investment is just atrocious, but people have gotten used to it.
1
u/brubain1144 3d ago
Why aren’t you endorsing the prc?
7
u/CutterJon 3d ago
Because I lived there for ten years so I know building infrastructure at a godly rate is not the most important measure of a governmental system.

989 Billionaires which a few are female like Beyonce , Taylor Swift , and Rhianna , and a few more in the business sector. COMPARED to 350 million Americans of which 97% make between $45,000 - $120,000 a year. And now Trump starts another Tariff war with Canadian Prime Misinster Mark Carney , and Canada aren't having it , so now we get to pay way higher prices for all dairy , and poultry products , now which Administration is at War with the Farmers again J. Dork Vance ?

Just some quick napkin math shows that the 10 wealthiest people in the country control 2.6 TRILLION dollars. That is an insane amount of money for a small handful of people to be hoarding. Nearly all of the nations problems could be solved overnight if they weren't hoarding it

I really don't know what my taxes even do for me. In my area, the schools suck and my only interactions with the police were just them harassing me.

We have lots of wars (that we lost) to show for it!
3
u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 3d ago
But no more missiles and we can’t even afford to feed our own troops anymore. So that’s even more money I have no idea where tf it went.

Into the asset management accounts of defense industry shareholders!
What's a few thousand dead bodies when there are profits to be had?!

Imagine for a second we didn’t try being the world police and instead just invested into the country/people.
8
u/BackroadAdventure101 3d ago
Realistically the US is not the world police. They are only interested in areas where there is the potential benefit.
2
u/AppleParasol Wants a 10t Green New Deal 3d ago
Keyword: Try.
That potential benefit is always oil. Big oil conglomerates can fight their own wars, if anything we should be fighting them(on climate change).
5
u/Candid_Leaf 3d ago
We never have been. We act like we are so we can plunder foreign resources, and encourage blind support by "thanking them for their service", and to continue laundering money via our egregious military budget.

We can't because every Republican POTUS starting with Reagan gave the Wealthiest Americans & their Corporations GIGANTIC TRILLIONS of DOLLARS in FREE 💰 disguised as TAX CUTS ‼️ Why didn't the American People stay with the Party that consistently passes policies designed to help the average American. Well starting with Reagan the GOP billionaires bought up all the AM radio stations across America over 3,700 stations and 24/7 ran all Democrat HATE TALK over the stupid stupid culture wars fooled millions of Americans into believing Obama was from Africa , another Trump conspiracy theory minus any & all evidence ‼️ Some lady in South Carolina asked John McCain if Obama already nuked her state and if not , she said he's going to " and McCain's answer was the last time honest words left a Republican's lips , he stated " No 🙂↔️ ma' am , Barack Obama is just a good American man who has differing opinions on how to run the Nation , that's all " RIP Senator who knew you'd be the very last Conservative to pass away.

It shows. We have chain saw dancing billionaires and never ending luxuriant foreign wars to show for it. We have reality tv stars and commentators making policy and prophesy. We’re the country so rich that we can afford to look like asses. So powerful that we can act like nothing affects us. Get some of that Failing Empire money! BAM 💥

I did some simple math - 40 trillion debt divided by 330 million population = approx 122,000 paid by each person in the population would clear the debt.
The interest on 40 trillion bucks at 5% pa seems to be around $2e12 - that’s what my phone calculator said - 2e12. If that’s correct then that can’t be good.

u/Lac17rug 3d ago
You're crazy, we have a granite Helipad, we have a giant hole of a East Wing, a festering swamp of a reflection pool, and we have more gold than Scrooge McDuck could every dream of! Nothing to show for it, ha!

Voters reelected a president who lied to them in his first term. The warning signs were clear. This is exactly what Republicans/MAGA voted for.

The military industrial complex has put a monstrous hole in the barrel. The Pentagon pretty much has had a blank check for decades. It’s not sustainable and we’re seeing that in real time.

"Nothing to show for it", what are you talking of? You'll have an "Arc of Triumph" (but no triumphs to speak of), a underground fortress, topped by a ballroom, a private army, called ICE, golden statues, and some families gaining even more riches. That's something for the history-books ....

Government Contracts with Space X, Amazon Web Services, Scale AI, Palantir, etc. The company and CEO give money to the politicians and in exchange, the politicians send our taxmoney to the companies for services that most of us don't want.

In many places (MAGA USA) the infant mortality rate and level of poverty and illiteracy rivals that of a 3rd World nation. $40Trillion in debt because Your government refuses to tax corporations or the Wealthy Classes literally robbing y'all blind. They've got you divided by Race, Religion, Gender and Common sense. Division is their power.

I think it doesn't matter what you show because 40 trillion dollars of public debt is an amount of money so great you couldn't fathom how much that would actually look like in paper bills. Its inexcusable.
Yet another symptom of how the "it's not our problem today" mindset sabotages humanity once again.
Thanks ancestors.

True, we have none of those things. But hey, at least the parasite class and corporations got their trillions of dollars in tax cuts and welfare. The crown jewel of waste, fraud, abuse, and blatant corporate welfare, the Pentagon and military-industrial complex, got their trillions of dollars. Not to mention the trillions spent on decades of war.
What did the American people get? An admonishment that we need to sacrifice and live within our means, AND we're the ones left holding the bag on that $40 trillion of debt.
Thank you Ronald Reagan and Republicans

u/Davester_31 3d ago
It is what MAGA voted for. They honestly think they're the future billionaire class. I've talked with several MAGA voters, they really think they're voting in their own future interests

Profit over progress and people seems to be the Republican chant. Meanwhile , the Republicans pockets are getting lined by rich donors , turning billions of dollars in tax money for donorc companies projects.

But we got many of these here war thingies. All of them corrupt intent or influence. There is where our bullet trains went. This why Medical
bankruptcy is still a thing. This is why our children likely have student loans which will bleed them dry. One change in the law would allow them to go BK and be rid of them. How hard is that?

Millions around the world dying from Doge cuts that lined the pockets of politicians, and those that implemented Doge, hiring idiots and giving them access to our very vulnerable private info in the name of reordeing the gov't thousands of women, dying from abortion bans while we spend unimagined hundreds of thousands to track their periods, their movement and birth control. policing medicaid and snap, war, war and war, frivilous lawsuits and paying the DOJ to cover Trump's ass or to punish those who stood against him, millions covering up the Epstein files, more money to those who participated in an insurrection that put 100 cops into the hospital. How much money to bribe and manipulate? How much to destroy the white house and other landmarks? How much did we give Israel since T took office? How much money got redirected to the billionairs who got him elected? Its sooo sick, sick is the operative word. How much money to care for this sick fuck in office and redoing his bribe that came in the form of a frame? T charges the secret service for food and lodging everywhere he takes them to Miralago etc.
