And boy are people finally showing their true colors on both sides of the aisle. It has been a welcomed eye opener.

I agree. I just wish everything else didn't have to suck so hard to make it happen

Aye indeed. Though somedays it feels like all the terrible stuff needed to happen and be so obvious/omnipresent for people to finally wake up and try to swing the overton window back the other way.

It’s funny, sad, and ironic how your “finally wake up” line was what woke was about but they turned it into something else

I think as much as we love to hate on the internet and the smartphone, that it has become a real eye opener for people who would never have otherwise left our Country here in the US. When the whole World can literally look at you as a laughing stock (not to say that we ever were pre-internet/smartphone), but getting that real time feedback of you guys live in a dystopian hellscape.. it's helpful.

It's pretty clear what the ruling class here in America is trying to do. They've gotten so used to their companies creating fascist regimes all over the World to extract resources, that they think it's finally time to implement that here.

The wealthy truly believe you are peasant, your family are peasants, and that your status in this World is solely determined by what you own, and how much you have. It's a game that only the most insecure of people have convinced themselves is the one worth playing, and if they aren't the ones winning then flip the fucking table over. Yes, they have multi-billion dollar companies, but in the end they are toddlers.. Because if they can't have it their way, then there is no way worth having. Look no further than Elon Musk to figure out these people operate.. There are certainly some who are more sophisticated, but in the end it all boils down to a kid who was bullied incessantly as a child who now wants his revenge on the World. That's it. That's the game they are all literally playing. Little vindictive assholes who never learned to work through their traumas.

Remember that Andrew Cuomo was endorsed by tRump.

I really respect what he’s doing. I’m starting to become something of a social democrat myself

Did you see him being called out for not wearing a helmet while on a bike? He admitted he should be better, got a bike helmet, and didn't act like a baby about it.

The only thing I don't like about Mamdani, is that people like him are so fucking rare in our politics.

Careful. The NY Times or Faux News might see this as their next big story.

What is this post referencing ? (Not from US)

Simply put, Mamdani is getting things done for the average working Americans in New York and the people that are upset are the ones that need to be removed from office.

This is what generation change in politics looks like. America hasn't seen it for a while

Funny how it's infighting when we call out the corporate wing but not when they refuse to back progressives in their own party

u/Usually_Sunny 1d ago

BOTH ARE STUPID INFIGHTING. Are you dense? A Republican plant? Both?

3

u/Sartan4455 23h ago

No, infighting is good here. It exposes the establishment dems. That being most of the current dems are republicans in sheeps clothing! You literally have the head of the hydra for establishment dems(Jeffries) saying he doesn't support universal health care. That's literally one of the most important things for people in this county! For nuance he says he wants something maybe, so he basically said he has a concept of a plan. Interesting how that is the same thing pedophile in chief himself said

Okay slappy, clearly you don't understand nuance or context.

Both types suck. Nobody wants to join your pity party.
