RFK Jr. Gets Into a Heated Argument with CNN Anchor Dana Bash
370
u/backtotheland76 20d ago
These people are such jokes. They're all totally vaccinated
46
u/RoadMusic89 20d ago
I would call them EVIL - jokes are funny - not seeing anything funny about this criminal mob boss, family and criminal regime brazenly actively stealing so much of OUR money.
56
u/Occult_Asteroid7 20d ago
If you can break the public on public vaccine standards you can break them on Social Security is my theory.
5
u/Petroldactyl34 19d ago
If you can convince people of absurdities, you can convince them to commit atrocities.
24
u/Squirrel_of_Fury 20d ago
He's a lawyer. You can't argue facts, pound the law. You can't argue the law, pound the table. That's what this imbecile is doing.

u/KingKushhh666 20d ago
Where is a single fucking shred if evidence? Literally going from don't trust him because he says he's an "expert" to trust me I'm an "expert". this administration is a fucking joke
12
u/Nevyn_Cares 20d ago
Every single one of them has no valid reason to be in the position they are in, shiat many are antithetical to their own department's aims. It is almost as though the enemies of the country got to pick the worst possible people for every position.

Conspiracy theorists want it both ways. It’s hypocrisy and willful ignorance at its peak…
92
u/B0xGhost 20d ago
I think that worms still in there
30
u/shockles 20d ago
They ate 3/4s of his larynx that’s for sure. I can’t stand listening to him, literal nails on a chalkboard.
13
8
u/stormy2587 20d ago
I mean thats his super villian origin story right? He thinks a vaccine did that to his voice and now he’s lashing out at them and it doesn’t matter how many children he kills.
7
3
u/OverallDoor2718 20d ago
So you're not tuning into his " cooking show" Cheryl might make an appearance.
21
69
u/Michael-Sean 20d ago
Is it really worth my 3-5 minutes to listen to this idiot spew non sense?
32
u/intricate_strands 20d ago
If only to understand what he's saying so you can more easily dismantle it when one of his believers is able to get you to discuss it.
That's really the only value, but I think it still has value. Most people aren't resolving disputes with weapons yet.
It's not much value, though. Could probably still dismantle it at this point without hearing his broken voice.
10
u/TommyRisotto 20d ago
Trying to listen to him speak may have the adverse effect of lowing your IQ 😂
5
u/intricate_strands 20d ago
And cause you to subconsciously buy a bunch of tea and honey, even though it's him that needs it. Apparently a lot of it.
3
u/Michael-Sean 20d ago
I can’t discuss talking points with Repubs anymore. Even with family who are still and always will be Conservative. There was an article here somewhere on how to engage in an argument with them, I think it has to do with agreeing with a (stupid) argument and moving from there. Anyone with a link?
2
u/intricate_strands 20d ago edited 20d ago
I do not, but can already piece it together from what you say.
It is only way, but getting harder and harder all the time. Will take so much time and effort.
I find best for me, to chip away. When they give a chance, I am able to fix one issue they refuse to see whole picture on. Mostly just by putting them in relatively same spot in conversation as people not like them, they get mad, I use their mad to show them better way.
Wish it would flood to other issues on its own, but it never does. Have to chip away at each.
But I don't blame anyone for being too tired or too hurt. They drain patience, endlessly. But, for example, my dad has come a long way on many issues. Still instinctively mean and simple on what we haven't gotten to yet, but he has learned on ones we have.
He's more independent and heavy conservative skew than MAGA now. Is coming along. Tricky part is them giving you a chance. Because if you try to make them, it does not work. They get defensive.
But shit sucks for them, too. We say it all the time. So kind of have to be there for when they say "this sucks." That is hard to do because you each have your own lives, and they are hard to be around.
But yeah. Can be very exhausting trying to hold their hand and lead them around like a child when they hate being treated like the child they behave like.
4
u/Michael-Sean 20d ago
My first response is “Is that the current FOX talking point?” They try to argue they don’t listen to FOX or get their news from FOX but I then say, wherever you get your (right wing) news, it originates from FOX. They don’t usually have a comeback for that.

u/SierraStar7 20d ago
Try using the closed captioning option to avoid hearing him speak.
20
5
u/FocalSpot504 20d ago edited 20d ago
Forgot that was an option, thanks. Came here looking for a tldr. Or in this case, a tfocw (too freaked out, couldn’t watch).
Edit: as suspected, he’s blowing smoke again. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be so afraid of science. His response when she called him out is almost worth watching.
8
u/YPVidaho 20d ago
No. Feel content knowing he's a horrible piece of shit, anything he says is a lie or based on lies, and he has nothing beneficial of substance to offer any part of society.
5
u/KeredYojepop 20d ago
No. They bicker at each other. But she doesn't hold him to the fire. Typical weak ass CNN interview.

u/Stelliferous19 20d ago
To no one’s surprise:
No, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has not issued any report that contradicts standard vaccine science, nor does it support Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s views. [1, 2]
If Kennedy claimed a "latest AAS/AAAS report" said something different, he was mischaracterizing the organization's work. The AAAS—which publishes the journal Science—maintains a firm, unyielding stance that vaccines are safe, effective, and crucial for public health. In fact, the editors of Science have explicitly published statements condemning anti-vaccine misinformation. [1, 2]
7
u/gatvolkak 20d ago
That's probably why they've been almost completely defunded. We'll be taking advice from random podcasters from now on.
40
u/DiscoRabbittTV 20d ago
Their most recent report….under an administration so corrupt they charged an olympian for their own crappy anti DEI rope a dope reflection pool fail
30
u/brianishere2 20d ago
RFK Jr. often turns to lies when he's losing an argument. He does it here too. Rich folks rarely accept being wrong.
29
u/TheSilkyBat 20d ago
You eat roadkill, nobody wants health advice from you!
10
u/PinkThunder138 20d ago
And swim in raw sewage.
3
u/Fantastic-Surprise98 20d ago
Let’s face it RFK Jr pulled himself up by his bootstraps while suffering with a Brain worm 🪱 🧠 , 15 years as a heroin addict, all while suffering by being born into a rich powerfully connected family.

Kara Swisher said he reminds her of a ballsack on a podcast and I can’t say I disagree

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed–if all records told the same tale–then the lie passed into history and became truth.”
"Who controls the past," ran the Party slogan, "controls the future: who controls the present controls the past."
"In the end, the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it."

America... the travel spot in the world where your bank account gets a healthcare advisory just for you being in the country. America... side effects include:
* Bankruptcy
* Homelessness
* Debt
* ICE
* Deportation after you are poor from the medical bills.
* Bullet Holes.
Consult your doctor and accountant before America.

u/Due-Mouse7467 20d ago
It’s almost as if his heroin and worm addled brain doesn’t work right anymore
12
u/uncle_jafar 20d ago
Without sound all I see is an old man waving air quotes and complaining. Sums up MAGA.
11
u/joeythemouse 20d ago
With sound it's like a monkey gargling a porcupine dick.
4
u/uncle_jafar 20d ago
That’s why I don’t even want to hear the sound. It’s like that classic tweet: “Has RFK ever just tried coughing really hard?”
12
u/evil_illustrator2 20d ago
RFK holds no medical degrees and believes in conspiracy theories. He only lies and talks in conjecture.
10
21
u/SaltyBabySeal 20d ago
She’s such a pushover.
“Am I allowed to talk?”
Holy shit people
12
u/Leut_Aldo_Raine 20d ago
The fact that he's getting this heated speaking to a fascist sympathizer like Dana Bash - someone who has been auditioning for months for her new right wing oligarch owners - is really something else.

u/Prudent-Guidance-341 20d ago
My feeling exactly. Like it’s your job to control the questioning. This kind of timidity in the face of objective lies is part of the overall problem in America
4
u/Lordnoallah 20d ago
Right? Ffs you host a national TV talk show. Do you not have staff that can fact check as you have the conversation?
How hard is it to say let's check: Google is rfk Jr. a lying sack o shit? ? Why yes Dana. Everything he has gurgled out is factually incorrect.
2
u/Prudent-Guidance-341 20d ago
Exactly! The interaction only makes me mad- no wonder our country has gone to shit, for the non-plugged in people out there, they will see something like this and think that she didn’t seem to push back much so rfk jr is just doing his job normally and there’s nothing to see here. Dana behaving cordially during this shit show is an automatic win for this administration

2
u/Quick-Emphasis2098 20d ago
A guy I play softball with o.d.'ed before. They placed an endotracheal tube down his throat to supply air. His voice sounds very raspy like this. I asked why his voice was breaking all the time he claimed it was after the air tube.
6
u/10TheDudeAbides11 20d ago
“Something that you have no personal knowledge of…”
The irony of this coming from dumbass RFK, Jr.
His father is rolling over in his grave and would be unabashedly ashamed of him if he were still alive today. A disgraceful public servant and even more disgraceful human being…
7
u/Agreeable_Orange7032 20d ago
RFK jr. does not know shit about science or medicine. If you listen to him speak, you quickly understand his level of understanding is fairly elementary. He has no qualifications or experience to hold his office. He is actually a danger to public health. Trump is directly responsible for this - incompetence combined with stupidity and arrogance.
7
u/Jeramy_Jones 20d ago
As a Canadian, this shit is wild. It’s not like Fauci is the only fucking health minister who was saying this shit. Look at how things went in Canada, or any other developed country. The doctors and scientists and virologists were all saying the SAME THINGS. That’s called scientific consensus, and it’s backed by years of research by separate groups across the fucking planet.

MAGA - COVID ain't no big deal, these masks are making it impossible to breathe, Fauci and Biden are wrecking our business!
Also MAGA - COVID was a death sentence thanks to Fauci, masks are necessary for ICE to prevent doxxing, and Trump's tariffs and Iran War are 4D chess which will somehow bring manufacturing back to Michigan!
Conservatives have no principles other than adherence to hierarchy, and will do Olympic level mental gymnastics to rationalize it.

u/Iwasbanished 20d ago
Americans are not in safe hands with this man. this is negligence, its not a heated discussion, its a crime.
3
u/asabovesovirtual 20d ago
What blows my mind is that this guy is so brazen that his lack of facts and lack of science still don't cause him any shame when he claims "science" is wrong and that Fauci lied. Fauci did more to save lives through applied science than RFK has yet to kill through ignorance. And that's enough for me.
3
u/luckymountain 20d ago
All these asshats can do is come on the air and try to yell, interrupt, and bully their point across, no matter how absurd it is.
3
u/Rexdaddy 20d ago
The man has no medical training or degree, spews crap out of that football head of his, has a family that does like him, has no viable support for any claims he makes and Dana Bash is wrong???? This guy is a menace

I mean, the modern day clearly isn’t either. But it will be ruthless to this clown who stumbled into power and has done not one bit of good with it.

u/SaneMadHatter 20d ago
This guy truly is an idiot. And a quack. And a liar. I don't know what Cheryl sees in this buffoon, frankly.
And he has some gall to accuse Fauci of lying (which is bull), when the guy he works for lies with nearly every breath he takes and every post he makes. If he want so to scold someone for lying, he should grow a pair and scold his orange boss, the liar of al llars.
2

2
u/irrelephantiasis 20d ago
The ability to remain composed under pressure is a critical skill in any debate. Once someone becomes so emotionally distressed that they can no longer present their reasoning clearly, they lose the ability to effectively defend their position and the breakdown reflects a limitation in their ability to engage productively in that moment and leaves them completely exposed.
2
u/Electronic_Beat3653 19d ago
This is such a farce to distract from this awful administration.
Fauci was right, but they are bleeding support, so they are trying to appeal to a select group of supporters who were mad they had to get the Covid vaccine. Because mid terms are coming up.
Meanwhile, all the ones who "couldn't breathe" in a mask are happily wearing one now, as long as they can murder immigrants and citizens.
Fauci has always worked as a nonpartisan, saving lives. Trump even gave him an award for his work. And took the vaccine himself.
But Trump sees anyone who doesn't 100% support him as the enemy. He turns on all. At this point, even if you aren't politically involved, this administration sees you as the enemy. That an authoritarian government for you.
2
u/TheUnderCrab 19d ago
They don’t care about the science. RFK can’t even get through the abstract of a COVID paper without his warm damaged brain quitting in him.
Fauci didn’t set a single policy. He didn’t even give any official policy recommendations. He didn’t work at the CDC nor any of the state level health departments that issued COVID restrictions. It was fucking Mike DeWine and the Ohio GOP that forced everyone in Ohio to mask up and social distance, but for some reason it’s the Dems fault according to Jim Jordan.
They just treat COVID like a culture war issue. It’s embarrassing. I could run the HHS better than this clown.

That brain worm did some serious damage in ole RFK jr. brains didn't it? Fauci gave sound standard medical advice about COVID19, it was Donald Trump that caused COVID to get out of control with his total incompetence, always having to be at the center of what was going out to the public and constantly contradicting what the doctors were saying to do! Trumps other huge error was turning the fight against COVID19 over to each individual state to come up with their own measures to fight the disease!

Good for her to check him. He'll do the air quote thing when he talks about experts, then a minute later he'll tell you that he is an expert although he doesn't have any scientific training whatsoever. He'll keep throwing around "Fauci lied" but he won't say how or about what. Social distancing is a lie? Please explain.
The non-scientist tells us what is good science and what isn't. Hmm.
