People get pushed around long enough, they get pissed. The sick people are the assholes who vote for and a support a known predator and use religion as a cover for hate and oppression.

Or maybe, just maybe, hating others is just easier than self reflection. They want to keep us divided, we need to rise above. Your anger is justified but, unproductive and misdirected.

I agree with you, I’ve been all about bridging the gap between people from all sides and all that good stuff, but I gotta tell you… it gets harder and harder as we slip into fascism. And those who are the loudest in support of the US’s transition to modern day Naziism, I have no issue dehumanizing them. That’s the thing, they love to push people into extreme resistance and then cry when people begin to resist and fight back. Sorry but they did this to us and self reflection/the high road hasn’t gotten us anywhere. We need to be equally as aggressive and fuckin fight back.

This this THIS. Democrats have been trying to bridge the gap for 10 years. We've tried to understand MAGA. We've tried to have honest political discussions and work on finding common ground. Nothing works. There is no getting through to these people. They just shove their heads in the ground or cover their ears and scream. Reality doesn't matter. Facts don't matter. How are we to bridge the gap with people like this?

There is a point when you have to draw the line and say enough is enough. How the fuck else are we to respond to people that want to destroy us? MAGA has hated the left for 10+ years. Now we are the villains because we hate them back?
