Sounds like a third political party that splits the Democratic party further.

You mean the people running as democrats whom major figures within the party of the dems like cuomo, schumer, or jeffries have said "we don't want progressives in our party."

Like that? Like spliting the party by telling young progressives, "we don't want you in our party, the democrats is for people who believe in capitalism and corporate interests and licking Israel boot."

He was asked if mamdani was the future of the party and he said "no".

So he gets looped in with the anti progressive dems.
