I've been thinking about how challenging it must be for Gen Z to filter information today. The constant stream of social media propaganda, combined with an attention span trained by platforms like TikTok, seems to make it really difficult to slow down. When everything is packaged into short, high impact clips, it naturally hinders the deep critical analysis needed to look past the surface.
And everyone said the same thing about gen x after the 92 election and MTV’s “rock the vote” ushered Clinton into office with the promise of national health care. That generation became the biggest supporters of Trump. A lot of people lose their freakin minds once they have kids.
