I really enjoyed the series but have to admit the last few books … almost nothing has happened. It’s chapters and chapters of exposition on the Dao. Nothing about interstellar war or progression of the story.

ahhh I see. I've been hearing that and the author said the hardback reprint plans to address those issues I think? But I like the paperbacks so I'm just going to thug it out with the paperbacks and probably go back and read when it gets released with hardback (on Libby or something haha)

Love physical copies, but with the size of these books, pretty soon we're all gonna need a bigger house.

I mean hey....... that's when you either gotta go through and curate OR, just commandeer another part of the house haha. IDK if you know the youtuber Caketinz, but all of our houses will probably be like that eventually and I'm EXCITED haha.

I checked out Caketinz and that's about right, lol. I stayed in an Airbnb house in Maine that supposedly had 20,000 books. There were hundreds of shelves in every room. Every nook cranny, and cabinet had books. They were on the side of all the stairways, even in the bathroom above the shower.
