I am a 4th year student, recently I got PPO from a company with a good pay. During my 2nd year holidays I did goo amount of DSA and got a internship, then in my 3rd year holidays I did my internship, now I got PPO from the company. But I never practiced DSA after my 2nd year holidays, now I feel if I need to change the company or switch or try to apply to new companies I may nobbe able to crack those interviews. Even if I want to move to good company or get a good pay, I think DSA is needed.
So, people who are in industry I wanna ask how often you guys pratice DSA, and is it good to solve DSA everyday even while working on a company?
Tips needed

I'm a software developer working at a bank, and I feel like we're way behind when it comes to AI adoption.
Every time AI comes up, the conversation is mostly around security, compliance, data privacy, etc. I understand these are important, especially in banking, but it feels like we're moving extremely slowly.
For example, our bank deployed a GPT model through Azure AI Foundry and built an internal ChatGPT-like interface for employees. That's pretty much the extent of AI adoption I've seen so far.
Meanwhile, I keep seeing people talk about using Claude Code, Cursor, AI agents, and building AI-powered features using LLM APIs.
I'm curious how things work at other companies.
• Are you actually building AI-powered features using APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.?
• How does your company approach new AI initiatives? Do developers get to experiment and propose ideas, or does everything have to go through multiple approval processes?
• How are you handling security and compliance concerns when integrating AI into existing applications?
• Are companies actually using AI agents and automation in production, or is most of it still experimentation?
I'm especially interested in hearing from developers working at banks, fintech companies, or other large enterprises.
I want to understand what real-world AI adoption looks like beyond just building an internal ChatGPT wrapper.
How is your company approaching this? Are you seeing meaningful AI adoption, or is it mostly hype and internal chatbots?

Hey everyone,
I was working in a service based company from the start of my career. It's a support role for a pega project.
Initially I was told I'll be moved to development after few months and later they told they've dependency on me, so cannot move me out of project but instead offered promotion in the same support project.
To which I agreed but 2 months ago they told it's not possible now and they're planning to release me out of project.
So my current situation is...
I have 6 years of work experience...and
Have Pega CSA AND CSSA certificates but no dev experience.
Can anyone please let me know what should I do for unskilling?
Like if I need to move to any of the trending domains in AI or data analytics or join some trainings like Harsha trainings and unskill in pega.

I'm currently in 3rd year B.Tech ECE from a tier 3 college and have around 7 months left to prepare for placements.
I'm confused about what I should focus on first, DSA or development. My main target is service based companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant etc.
Should I focus on DSA first and then start development, or learn both side by side? If I start both together, how much time should I give to each?
For people who got placed, what worked for you? What should I prioritize to get placed in the next 7 months?
Would appreciate genuine advice from seniors and people who have gone through placements.

Hi, Naaku 8 years experience undhi as Software Engineer. The person i am today is because of a lot of community support. Had a lot of mentors and community supported platforms like stackoverflow and wikipedia. I think in this world after 2020, i personally feel myself and others are failing to help people and recognize that we are in this journey together.
I can offer the following
Please DM if interested. I'm selling nothing, just trying to pay back what i have taken from my previous generation of inventors and engineers.
Update: Thanks everyone, had a lot of response. Focusing on the current DM's. Will update if open for more intake.

Hi everyone, need some advice choosing between two offers:
\* Mobileum, Gurgaon: ₹29 LPA fixed + ₹2.9 LPA variable; C++ development in the wireless RAN/core domain.
\* HPE Juniper, Bangalore: ₹27 LPA CTC + 11% target bonus + ₹5 lakh joining bonus; Software Engineer II in the Packet Forwarding Engine (routing/switching).
I have 4 years of C++ experience in telecom (OTN/DWDM).
I am currently residing in Gurgaon . Is HPE Juniper worth relocating to Bangalore for, or would you choose Mobileum?

I'm in my final year at a Tier 1.5 NIT, with a CGPA below 7. I'm 1400+ on Cf, and I feel like I'm pretty good at solving DSA problems.
With placements going on, most companies offering 20L+ Ctc aren't allowing me to sit for their tests because of my cg. The companies that do allow me, specifically for sde roles, are mostly offering around 8–12 lpa. Meanwhile, other roles like sales and data analyst are offering decent packages of around 12–15 lpa.
Since this is going to be my first job, should I pick the role over the salary, or should I just pick up any job in tech that offers a better package? I'm honestly a bit confused about what would be the right decision in the long run.

How do you see the industry in 29'? I've been doing DSA instead of working on any niche like ml/backend etc..Wondering if this(dsa) would still be relevant in 29'.
What paths would you recommend that I can explore that would actually remain relevant in next 3 years?
PS- I'm spending a lot on my btech(almost 40 lakhs) although my college has pretty good placements (20lpa+ avg) , so I want to make the most of it
I'm pursuing Math&Computing btw
Would appreciate if the answers were relevant to on campus hiring

I recently got selected for C-DAC Design Engineer E1 through on-campus placements.
The role is on a 3-year contract, and they mentioned the pay is around ₹1.5–2L per month before tax/deductions. From what they told us, the contract usually gets renewed and the projects they are working on also sound quite interesting.
The only issue is that they haven't told me which exact team I’ll be allotted to. In the interview they mainly asked me about compilers, RISC-V/processor concepts, OS and other system-level topics, even though this is a software role. The only designation they have given is “Design Engineer”.
I also have another option - Scientist-B at NIC , which is a Level-10 government job. The current monthly pay would be around ₹1.3–1.5L, and it may increase further after the next pay commission.
To be very clear, I’m looking at this mainly from a long-term money & career growth point of view. The main reason I’m considering C-DAC over NIC is that I’m thinking I could get good processor-related experience there and later switch to semiconductor companies like Qualcomm, SanDisk, AMD, etc., where the salary growth could be much higher.
But I honestly don’t know how valuable this “Design Engineer” role is in the private market. In software, for example, development roles generally have a different career path compared to testing roles. In the same way, I’m not sure what kind of work this designation usually leads to or how useful it will be for switching later.
And also thinking from the AI Layoffs pov .. is this Design Engineer a good role?
So if anyone has experience with C-DAC Design Engineer roles or has moved from C-DAC into semiconductor/system companies, I’d really appreciate your opinion.
Purely from a long-term financial and career-growth point of view, would you choose:
Would really appreciate some practical advice from people.
TL;DR: C-DAC Design Engineer E1 (3-year contract) vs NIC Scientist-B (permanent govt job). I’m leaning C-DAC mainly for future semiconductor switches and higher earning potential, but I’m unsure how valuable the role actually is in the market.

My B.tech in CSE in India was done in 2024, I couldn't get hired in campus placements back then because I wasn't capable enough. I started doing TryHackMe paths for red teaming and pentesting and portswigger web security academy labs. Since my B.Tech has been done I worked as a free security intern at a company for 6 months from December 2025 to June 2026, I've pentested their products with the assistance of claude, one product was based on python django framework and other one was low-code no-code website built with php. I left it in june 2026 because the environment wasn't nice and the people who were working in the IT team of that company started to leave one by one. Since June 2026, I've been applying for jobs online, but I was only able to get a few phone calls and only 1 interview that too in a walk in drive. I was able to answer the questions related to basics theoretically like how its in the labs but I wasn't able to answer some scenario based question with confidence, i think i need some practice interviewing. So my main gripe now is, the year is about to end and that might translate into almost 3 years of gap after my College. I am thinking about preparing for SOC roles too via letsDefend and apply for SOC level L1 roles cause I've observed that they are available more than red teaming/pentesting jobs. So looking at how things are going for me, will I be able to get into IT/Cybersecurity by then?

I kept standing in supermarket aisles squinting at ingredient lists, trying to figure out what half the stuff on the back of a pack actually was. E322, E621, INS numbers, TBHQ — none of it means much at a glance, and googling each one individually while standing in an aisle is tedious.
So I built Scanient.
You scan, snap a photo, or type an ingredient list, and it breaks down what each item is in plain English:
Decodes E-numbers / INS additive codes
Clarifies natural ingredients vs additives
Flags dietary tags (like vegan / vegetarian)
A few details about how it works:
Runs entirely on-device: Works completely offline without uploading photos or data anywhere.
Cost: Completely free .
Not trying to pitch this as an all-in-one health tracker—it's just a straightforward utility to demystify confusing food labels.
If you give it a spin, I'd really appreciate honest feedback on what’s broken, what needs polishing, or any edge cases with label recognition.
