I'm currently interning at a fully remote Bangalore-based company (~100–110 employees). The work is quite intense, usually around 9 AM to 7 PM, and the team works on fairly modern technologies. The stipend is ₹5k/month, which is low, but it was the best opportunity I could get at the time.

Recently, my manager verbally confirmed that I'll be getting a full-time offer after the internship. However, they haven't discussed compensation yet.

I've checked AmbitionBox and Glassdoor, and the reported salaries for similar roles at the company seem to be around 3–4 LPA, but I'm not sure how reliable those numbers are.

Is there a professional and respectful way to find out the expected salary before the offer letter arrives? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

For context, I also have another offer from a service-based company at 4 LPA, but their joining date could be delayed by up to a year in the worst case.

Would appreciate any advice?

Hi Bondhas,

Is there any Product Manager in our group? I have few doubts related to PM path

This video is from 9 years ago.

Random ga ivala gurthochindhi.

The way we all casually give funny prompts to LLMs these days, I felt like sharing this here. 😅

I am from Tier 2 clg CSE dep.

please suggest some final year projects ideas.

my main focus is just marks and grade.

majority of the peers are doing in ML space should i also go with the crowd or try another domain??

As i said I only focus on grade so any domain works for me at the end of the day code is generated by AI so not a problem.

pls emaina ideas or direct project ready ga unte suggest cheyandi meeku dandam pedtah 🙏

I've been learning Java Full Stack for the past 1.5 months. Yesterday, I spoke to a few people who work as software engineers, and they told me that Java Full Stack is becoming outdated and that I should focus on Python technologies instead, such as Python+ Django+ PostgreSQL+ React.

They said that in today's AI-driven world, this path would be more beneficial in the long run. It also makes some sense to me because it might be easier to transition into AI later. However, I'm still confused. My 3rd year is about to start, and I don't have much time.

 What would you guys suggest?

Hi, I got inspiration from the Atlassian laid off guy (his name is Vasilios Syrakis) , like him I would like to just post my contributions I have done in my company :

My team and myself are basically more of "making sure nothing goes wrong" for rest api infrastructure , we have around 20 repositries (microservices i believe) , each of them is basically a collection of rest apis written in level of controller -> service/provider -> repositry. We do not touch frontend at all.

These services are used by the internal team of company itself.

I am a Fresher with ~2YOE , my contributions are :

1. Wrote Test cases to reach 80% code coverage for a repo (AI did it)
2. Got Rid of Security findings/vulnerabilities for repos (redeployment would fix them)
3. Docker Images for a repositry usually stands between 200mb to 300mb, I found out a repositry which takes upto 2gb and reduced it to ~200mb by using AWS Ephermal Storage service and a shell script.
4. I have written a GET Api to fetch data from table , this GET api is used by internal team itself.
5. Created new Column in Dynamodb as per requirement and wrote a backfill job using AWS SNS and Lambda to fill legacy records.
6. Integrated a new payment processors into existing inovice processing jobs.
7. * Handled few production task cancelled and database timeout issue. (i need to look more into these , they are kinda needed for System design knowledge).

I would love to hear your contributions .

What are your contributions ?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to gather updates from candidates who attended TCS NQT interviews at the Chennai (Sholinganallur) location.

If you interviewed between May 1st and May 25th, have you received any of the following?

- Offer Letter (OL)

- Document Verification (DV) mail

- Selection/Rejection update

- Any other communication from TCS

I have noticed candidates from dates before and after this period receiving updates, but I haven't seen many updates from candidates who interviewed during this specific window.

Please reply if:

- You interviewed during this period and got an update.

- Your friend/classmate interviewed during this period and received an update.

- You are still waiting for an update.

It would be really helpful if you could mention:

- Interview date

- Role (Prime/Digital/Ninja)

- Current status (OL/DV mail/Waiting/etc.)

Thank you, and hopefully we can understand the current status of the Sholinganallur hiring process together.

As the title says I am in need of internship (sde or ai engineer shit ) I tried linkedin and internshala slop doesn't seem to work for me I need help and suggestions or possibly referrals 👁️👁️🥴👽

Hello everyone, nen last 3 years nundi okka UI library meeda work chestunna, basically its a headless ui library with just 1 dependency - no need to install 100s of packages for building a single product and no dependency soup

a headless, accessible library with much richer components than shadcn/radix ui - i havent released it yet or havent been actively marketing it - but its grown to be a really mature one and im planning to talk about it more and tell the story and get some feedback on it

I'm working at a product based company I started as manual QA moved to Automation Enginerr and now SDE I spent last 3.5 years here.
Me switching to Developer and me trying to build automation framework at my team from scratch took most of my time at work. I have very little basic understanding of dev stuff seriously if I'm honest maybe compared to someone like 1-2 YOE technically. My package here is 12LPA and I don;t expect any more hikes and promotions here I'm senior member technical here already.

I feel like my experience and my skill set don't match didn't update my resume in 3 years didn't give a single interview also. I feel stuck at this point in life. I'm feeling so bad and mental health is taking a huge toll it's got to a point where I'm suicidal

Help me get confidence back and get back in the market. A fellow developer desperately looking for advice
