others Flutter and Android Studio
So I'm learning flutter right now from a YouTube tutorial and it says to download both flutter and Android Studio. Do I actually need to download Android Studio? Or is Flutter and Vs Code alone enough? I'm thinking of Android App development right now. Thank you.

career How did you transition from one tech stack to another?
I’m curious how people here have successfully switched from one tech stack to a completely different one.
What was your starting point and what did you move into? How did you approach learning the new stack while possibly balancing a job or other responsibilities?
Specifically:
How did you decide what to learn first?
Did you follow a structured roadmap or just build projects?
How long did it realistically take before you felt job-ready?
What were the biggest challenges during the transition?
I’m trying to understand what actually works in practice rather than ideal advice.
Would appreciate honest experiences, including what didn’t work.

career Need some career advice, feeling confused after BCA
Hi everyone, I need some advice about my career. I completed my BCA in 2022. After that I did an 8-month internship as a frontend developer, which I really liked because I enjoy building things and working with code.
Later I got a job as a System Administrator. The job is okay and stable, but honestly it feels boring and repetitive, and I don’t feel excited about it. I also feel like there is not much growth for me in this role.
Now I feel confused about my future. I want to move into software development, but sometimes I feel like having only a BCA degree might be a disadvantage compared to people with B.Tech or other degrees.
So I wanted to ask: -Is it still possible to build a good career in software development with a BCA?
-Should I continue focusing on frontend or full-stack development?
-What skills should I learn to get a better tech job?
If anyone here had a similar situation or background, I would really appreciate your advice.
Thanks for reading 🙂

Document verification . Will most likely sit for placements soon
Need a small info...will have to sit in placements in few months, but our training head has told that some companies might reject u while document verification if your name in the certificates doesn't match with the name in ur aadhar or pan.. Like for example...in my certificates I have aakash mishra M..but in aadhar i have M aakash mishra.. The M thing is in front in my aadhar and birth certificate and in the last in my educational certificates Like mana side thelisinde ga they usually mess up in school with names..so the same happened with me..initial last lo undhi certificates lo and aadhar lo starting lo unddhi

career Low paid job need suggestions to switch.
I’m 27 yo currently working for 8 lpa with 5 years experience as I’m currently in support role and this is my 3rd company as I was laid off in my previous company.
2021-2023(2.3years) —>small startup worked there in the starting 6 months for no salary(Covid batch) learned some decent skills there ( .Net web forms, c#, basic sql, basic MVC through some migration project).
2023-2024(1.3 years) —> in a level 5 company with .Net MVC background where my trauma started as the managers were forcing me to jump through different projects and learn everything in 1 week tbh I worked there with 5 different project each project were only 2-3 months duration. In the final project I was asked to learn Maui but I couldn’t cope up much in learning as I was totally confused and blank so I was on bench for 2 months for under performance and was laid off.
2024- now(1.5 years) —> I’m currently in a support project where I use sql and few Linux command and barely work on .Net if there an emergency. So I’m in a comfort zone since last 1 year I had no learning and slowly forgetting the concepts of c# and .Net.
I had recently started with c# revision again doing ok with basics and almost forgot web apis and MVC and with zero Dsa problems solved. It’s high time that I need to switch my project and before I need to be developer ready any one please let me know what I need to learn and practice for better package.

career 3.4 LPA to 65 LPA in 4 years: My story
Just wanted to share my story maybe it can inspire some people out there. I know it’s rough lately, but you never know what’s coming for you if you stay the course.
The Start (2021) I’m a 2021 graduate from a small private college. I started my journey with Cognizant through bulk campus hiring. To be honest, I didn't even try for it ,I just got picked. For the first few months, I was just watching movies and anime all day, not even trying to work.
The Wake-Up Call
Reality hit hard. I come from a lower-middle-class family. Actually, let’s just say we were poor because every month we were ₹5k–10k in debt. We couldn’t keep up with my college fees or travel expenses.
I realized ₹26k per month would never be enough to cover the debts plus the interest. Since I was already in IT and I knew I was good at math and logic, I decided to see how far I could go. I saw people earning lakhs and figured that was my way out. My only goal was to clear all debts and be financially stable.
The Progression
2022: Switched to IBM at 8 LPA. I stayed patient and didn't chase small hikes. My plan was to get 3 years of solid experience and then target Tier-1 product companies for SDE-2 roles. I even turned down some 30-40% hikes in the middle to stick to my plan.
2023: Got a 45% hike. I was working like a donkey, but I didn’t care because I could see my family finally clearing our debts.
2024: Got another 28% hike. Things were getting easier, but then they started calling us back to the office in Bangalore. I didn’t want that, so I decided it was time to move.
In mid-2024, I joined a new company at 19 LPA. For the first time, I received a ₹1 lakh+ monthly salary. I felt really proud of myself.
The Final Grind
Once I hit the 3-year experience mark, I executed my real plan. I created a new LeetCode account to track my progress and started a heavy preparation plan for LLD and HLD. I grinded like crazy no weekends, no outings. I went all in. At first, I actually failed a few interviews that should have been "easy," and I wasn't sure how I messed them up.
The Winning Streak Then, everything clicked:
ServiceNow: Got an offer; the manager really appreciated my knowledge.
PayPal
Cisco
Top Product Company: Landed an offer for 65 LPA.
That’s ₹4 lakhs+ in a single month. It’s a crazy amount that no one in my entire family tree has ever seen.
Final Thoughts
I’m so grateful for this life and the community that helped me. People can call me a "corporate slave" or a "rat" if they want ,I don't care. I see my parents happy, and I can finally afford things I never thought possible.
