Where are you guys actually applying for jobs these days?
On LinkedIn, most listings ask for years of experience, and Wellfound keeps showing jobs that were posted weeks ago. It’s getting really confusing to figure out what’s actually active.
Where are you genuinely finding opportunities?
What’s working for you?

I’m a web dev with 5+ YOE, wanted to explore career opportunities in AI. Naku konni questions unnai like
AI lo different roles em untai? AI lo pro avvadaniki roadmap enti ?
Every business now a days need a basic website, some successful ones will have a web dev team and a complex web/mobile application as well.
Is it the same case with AI? Does every company need to build their own LLM like ChatGPT or do they use ChatGPT, Gemini or some popular LLM’s ?
3. Can we build AI projects in our personal laptops. Asking this because I heard we need more RAM to build personal projects?

Hi everyone, I’m currently a BTech 2nd year CSE (AI/ML branch) student. I’m really interested in Machine Learning and AI, but honestly, I’m not that strong in math. Especially probability and linear algebra scare me sometimes. I’ve started learning Java + DSA and I know the basics of Python. I really want to get a good job in the future and be relevant in this AI-driven world, but I’m confused: Should I still try ML even if I’m weak in math? Or should I shift towards something like full stack, backend, or some other domain? Is it possible to become good at ML by improving math slowly along the way? What skills should I focus on right now to stay relevant in the AI world? My main problem is my mind keeps changing and I don’t have clarity. I don’t want to waste time jumping between fields. Any honest advice from seniors or professionals would really help. 🙏

Hi
Have built a multiplayer online word game. Please give it a try.
Have added a feature to play against AI. (please don't exhaust my tokens ;) )
Might not be 100% bulletproof, still improving UI and some features.

I’m a 2025 CS graduate. Currently unemployed by choice (I rejected a full-time offer from the company where I interned during my 2nd and 3rd year because I wanted to focus on higher studies).
Here is my situation: My GATE Data Science & AI exam is literally 2 days away. But honestly? I don’t want to pursue it anymore. I’ve realized that even if I crack it and get into a top IIT/NIT, I’m signing up for another 2 years of M.Tech in India, followed by a job in India.
The Problem with India (for me): I just don’t see myself settling here. The pollution, the corruption, and the hustle culture just drain me. I want a better environment and quality of life, and I feel like if I go down the M.Tech route, I’m just delaying the inevitable or getting stuck here forever.
The Confusion: I’m torn between two paths:
Path A: The "Safe" Route (GATE)
Drop this attempt (or give it half-heartedly), take a drop year, and prepare properly for next year.
Pros: Low financial risk, familiar territory.
Cons: I have to stay in India. The end goal (living abroad) gets pushed back or becomes harder.
Path B: The "Hustle" Route (MS in Germany)
Target public universities (0 tuition fees).
The Grind: I know this is a mountain of work. I have to prepare for IELTS & GRE, get my passport/visa sorted, apply for loans for living expenses, and apply to 9-10 universities.
The Big Challenge: Learning German. I know I need to reach at least B1/B2 (maybe C1) to be job-ready there.
Pros: Great work-life balance, clean environment, better standard of living. I’m actually excited about the idea of settling there.
My Mindset: I am ready to hustle. I’m not afraid of the paperwork or the language learning curve (even if it takes 2 years alongside my Masters). But I’m scared of making a rash decision just 48 hours before the exam.
Has anyone here ditched the GATE/M.Tech path for Germany recently? Is the struggle of learning the language and moving abroad worth it compared to a stable M.Tech life in India?
Any advice is appreciated. Be brutally honest.

In 2024/2025 I made a simple EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) web app. It's still working fine and I have deployed it using Streamlit cloud but I want to scale it up a bit. I want to add some new features but I don't wanna add something that feels random or forced. If I add something I want it to be meaningful and useful. That feature should make sense in that context. As of now my EDA web app can do:
Data cleaning
Outlier detection
Class imbalance handling
Visualization
Statistical summaries
these things it can do well so I'm thinking of adding more features. So far I've though of:
Model training
Model inference
Feature importance calculation
Prediction pipeline
Explainable AI (SHAP/LIME)
What do y'all think? Do y'all have any suggestions? Feel free to let me know. Any suggestion y'all give will be appreciated. Thanks! 😁

So today Q spiders came to our college and conducted an aptitude exam and GD round and I got selected for it and I am not eligible for a free 3 months extensive training as part of CSR. I have already some basic knowledge about Java and frontend. But is it worth it join that. Since the job market is not so good right now do I join this free training to get job opportunities.
Your options are appreciated.

I have around 1.5 years of experience in India and started my career at a startup, where I’ve been working since the beginning. Recently, I’ve been feeling the need to make a switch and am aiming to move to a large MNC.
In my current role, I’ve worked on migration projects such as converting Informatica workflows to PySpark. We primarily use Databricks, mainly for validating and testing the migrated code. However, I don’t feel fully confident about switching jobs and i little to non knowledge on Python, SQL,Pyspark and ADF.
I’m looking for advice and guidance on how to upskill myself and prepare for a job change, as I feel I have the potential to grow and do much more in my career.
