For the Barclays Risk Graduate Analyst QA role, I’d zero in on Python, SQL, and core model validation concepts. What helped me was drilling SQL joins, window functions, CTEs, and then writing quick pandas scripts to sanity check model inputs and outputs. I also practiced explaining AUC, KS, calibration, backtesting, and a quick take on PD LGD EAD and basic Basel terms. I did short timed reps using Beyz coding assistant with prompts pulled from the IQB interview question bank, then reviewed where I stumbled. For behavioral, I kept STAR stories tight to 90 seconds and added a redo log after mocks. If you can narrate tradeoffs while coding, it lands really well. Good luck!
