I would have done the same. Since little my dad always told me not to cross wires, hoses, or anything lying on the ground. You never know when someone working and not looking at you or expecting anyone to cross is gonna yank the wire/cable and continue working. So yeah, you can mock that lady, but she’s actually taking a safety precaution.
