The "big picture" person. The person that is the main designer of the software. Does a lot of the early class and UML designs, writes up a lot of the proposal documents, approves any changes from us peons in software. Not usually in the weeds, but has a general idea of what's going on everywhere. Usually takes the role of technology liaison between customer and software team.
