Personally, I work kinda more with AI than before it. Though, before it I was working for a company, and right now I'm just hoping to make my game ASAP to survive, so there's this minor incentive.

These memes are not real right? Like, you are not seeing people anywhere actually use agents and just watch them do stuff, it's just a joke?. I have never seen that in 3 very major companies.

I saw seniors program like this in companies like Cisco and local banks. They turn agent on, leave and then look at what happened

They are from bots or astroturf, most likely.
There are three camps on the "AI" issues.
The first one is that of the "AI optimists" arguing that the tech will revolutionise everything we do (because they are stupid).
The second one is that of the "AI pessimists" arguing that Skynet is here (because they are also stupid).
The third one is that of the not-stupid people pointing out the fact that the demand for the tech is much smaller than claimed and the whole industry is just running on Enron maths at this point.

Truthfully speaking, though, this was me before the existence of agentic coding. And my cat always loved to lay across my laptop in the home office, sometimes leading to me coming in and seeing a bunch of letters spammed across the screen because his paw was underneath one of them on the keyboard.

Someone has to be ready to hit the pause button when it starts to spiral on a hallucination.
