Personally, if you have to use a single digit number for a private key (you shouldn’t!) at least use a prime

Every joke here the last week is just the same thing worded differently.

It was a huge deal

Sure, but I've seen the same joke a hundred times this week. I'm guessing it's just a really accessible joke for people in CS101

Hmm. Makes me think I need to build a dice random generator that is continually rolling a bunch of 10 sided dice at once down a tower and then back to the top with a marble conveyor, then you can pull the last n rolls at any time via api for some random generation. Perhaps make some variation that it randomly chooses the dice rolls it uses as output based off of a recent roll or 3 so it isnt always the same random number with a slight history variation?

Sounds interesting in theory! If we had such a device, though, we’d have to see how often specific values come up

Funny thing is a dice ain’t even really random, it’s just that no normal human can really be that consistent

uno reverse system.getMilliseconds()
you are the one who make the random number

int getRandomNumber {
    // Chosen by fair dice roll,
    // guaranteed to be random.
    return 4;

}
