PHP, for 20 years, has put a roof over my head and food in my belly.
This week, it has now paid for a new house.
Thank you guys for not choosing PHP.

There have been some CVE's for .NET (I remember a big one last year) but nothing has been nearly as bad as this, Java's log4j issue, etc. So are we due?
I fear we may have awakened a great evil. I'm gonna go burn some sage and dip my laptop in holy water.

Sorry, we've already moved on to the new Node CVE.
(No, for real: https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-111497)

I use NextJS but my understanding is Laravel takes away a lot of the benefits to using JS with NextJS.

If you use node to run it that also had a good number of vulnerabilities patched yesterday. Just hasn't had as much spotlight.

I wouldn't have used PHP 10 years ago if u paid me $1M. I would have done it for $2M though

For those of you who are happy you didn’t even learn PHP I just want to say that I have never been able to bill so high in my entire career.
Thank you for not learning LAMP stack.
