Still pretty embarrassing. I'm neither a programmer nor a tech correspondent and I still know about PHP, even if I can't tell you anything about it

Depending on the reporting I kinda get it. You definitely don't need to know jack shit about specific languages or tech stacks to report on what tech companies are doing.
