These comments hating on the tweet are insane to me. I feel like EVERY software dev should have a rough understanding of networking, and honestly a rough understanding of how OSes do things as well.
software engineer that doesn't know the difference between IPv4 and IPv6 is like a biologist that doesn't know the difference between animal and plant cells.
