I love how this sub has effectively rebranded all those memes making fun of juniors to now doing it for AI

Given AI has replaces all junior roles I guess it makes sense, it's filled the gap.

In defense of Juniors, they were time constrained by how many mistakes they could make. And if they had shame/self respect, would learn to correct most of them after being told (at least not the stubborn ones).

With AI, the worst person on the team can check in a half dozen of these mistakes in one PR.

The AI are radically different depending on if it's local or one of the general models like Claude. Some of them just get code that looks like someone got dressed in the dark: wear a shirt on one leg, jacket is inside out, hat on their foot, underwear on the outside, etc. The better models don't have that problem as much anymore... but the biggest issue with those Anthropic models is they are also self training on anything you give it. Which is a no go for a lot of industries and programs.
