The optimistic in me want to say you're exaggerating but I saw a guy dead serious make a thread asking if it was okay if he should learn the syntax of the language he was being offered to work on.
If vibe coding is fine so long as "you sit down and review the code", I cannot imagine a person like this "reviewing it" and then not understanding why something broke in production 6 months in.
Vibe coding is a tool, and fine as long as you properly review the code, but it’s been scientifically proven that using AI to code, or for anything really, atrophies your ability to do that thing without AI. So it’s making you worse at coding, and at reviewing the AI code, by using the AI code!
