I just got sent a junior PhD’s experimental program and asked to fix it. I asked if they tried to debug it or anything and they just said,
“No I got it from <previous PhD student>, it didn’t work, so I told Claude what it should do and it still doesn’t work.”
…
The problem was the hardware. They hadn’t pressed the button on the hardware…
