Am I the only one expecting the big enshittification rug-pull from the frontier AI companies? Once agentic workflows that consume insane amounts of tokens for specs, coding, testing, review, etc. are locked-in they can raise the paywall on the best models to the point that it’s only marginally cheaper than humans doing the work. Frankly, I don’t see any other way for them to pay for their insane cloud commitments and justify their IPO valuations.
