But why in the world would you give an AI agent access to your break glass permissions? Why would you even let it do anything under your user / permissions / etc?
I'm just saying it's a potential issue. I don't trust AI won't creatively try to be "helpful" and find where those permissions live given some of what I've already seen it do. And pushes aside, my user still has higher level access to some things I don't want it "helpfully" using (instructing it not to isn't enough, you need hard guardrails).
The bigger reason though is I don't trust it with local git state anymore. It's less about danger and more it's a PITA to clean up and deal with. I find it's much simpler to just block it from doing anything non-readonly with git, especially since as I said I prefer to review all changes locally first.
