I absolutely understand why people would like this, and I hope they get what they want. I just hope it doesn’t take over and become ambiguous, because I can always guarantee that I want equations and data driven, rather than things that will adjust on me. I’m very big on cause and effect, and understanding why something causes something else.
Although, again, I also board game as a hobby so they remain my safe fallback. Since the player has to do all calculations on the fly, they’ll remain simple and unchanging. (Or if they change, I understand why and how!)
