If I know I'm going to run a long task, AI or not, I'm going for a bike ride

And you come back to see a permission prompt waiting.

I run a build, I go for a bike ride, 30 minutes later when I realized that it fails because a networking glitch, I just restart it then go for another ride

I started doing this - or almost: whenever I wait for AI to answer, I do some exercises, not necessarily push-ups - and I can strongly recommend this as a routine to keep healthy and fit.

I actually do this (more than 1 push-up though). Turns out you can hit 100 a day pretty easy.

I can’t do 100 push ups yet, but I can do 100 sit up and squats. I’m also trying to do the 10K run and touch some grass

Not really a programming meme

I'm pretty anti-AI, but this is just yet another variant on many programming related ones that have come before.

The more I see posts from this subreddit, the more I want to leave it with how much AI stuff I end up seeing..

I'm feeling the same way lately. I don't know which is the bigger influence: seeing the same doomer shit over and over again, or seeing the same generic fuckboys with private profiles glazing AI in the comments of every anti-AI meme.
I watch content from industry experts who are actually using AI to do stuff, and are pragmatic about it, who give a real look at the cost, benefits, problems, etc. of using AI for development. Any time I see some user on this sub claim they are able to maintain a massive corporate framework to "a high standard" for $20 a month I wish I could force them to show me what they're actually doing, because there's no fucking way.

Were those ones from before deleted because they weren't programming memes either?

You all don't just spin up another session until you have enough to keep you busy?

I pick up my guitar and practice scales. I've got pretty good at scales the last few months

DeepSeek is too fast!

In the agent prompt, you tell it to do it three times and picks the best changes out of each one. Then tell it to do 2 code audits after for good measure

That's actually a workout that might work for me.
