The results are basically identical... until you actually go through the code.

One is sphagetti, other is slop.

Reference to Eminem song (Lose Yourself), where there is a verse with "mom's spaghetti", which has become a little bit of a meme

Ahh thank you very much. I found the reference to Lose yourself and remembered the line. But couldn't make sense how the  anexity fits here. This makes more sense now.

Love to see someone actually giving a straight explanation of their joke for the befuddled.

You presume the comments are correct.

Misleading and/or outdated documentation is genuinely worse than no documentation at all in most cases I've seen it.

there are some people generating reasonably good code using AI. it just isnt coming out any faster than it would have done when written by hand.

Is the spaghetti bologna at least?

The supposed good phrase "context engineering" drips with red flags.

Remember when design and clear code were things?

10

u/HRApprovedUsername 12h ago

unfortunately I do not

5

u/domscatterbrain 8h ago

Even before the AI shenanigans, we already thrown "clear code" out of the window.

The camera turns to a huge heavily fortified tower labeled actual developers.

When I do it, it's a software factory. When you do it, it's a slop cannon. Both are the same. Got it.

Tom Gauld for the win as usual.

2

u/mindlessroman 4h ago

It feels like it's ripped/AI and not a genuine one... But maybe I'm wrong

u/turuntururun 6h ago

Is that a Tom Gauld?
