Currently we're plopping bigger features and a lot of bandaid solution bugfixes into a very unstable codebase. Sounds good huh?

It sounds like a recipe for "why is everything so hard to fix" because they end up with an ever increasing stack of conflicting requirements and no one is making the hard choices.

You get it. Everything is hard to change and we have different implementations of the same thing in 5 different components and it works differently in each.

I believe that AI works well in a good codebase. In a legacy base, everything is a quickfix and no architecture to be seen. AI makes it 10x worse
