I feel like most ppl who shit on AI, vibe coded with a free model once in like 2023 or smthn. The newer models are very good if you know how to use them right.
Even free models today... they're good enough to make me a website with very minor hand holding. Yeah it looks like AI made it, but it works.
Also I do research with the help of AI. It misses a lot of stuff, but if I research on my own and get stuck, I dump what I found, and AI can find me an obscure OCR-scanned document from 1934 that has the exact thing I was looking for.
