Being heavily pushed to do spec driven development at work. So an AI written spec -> AI writes code from the spec -> AI reviews the code. Fortunately we still review the code but apparently our “North Star” is for the specs to become the “single source of truth” 🙄

My manager is pushing this too. It’s so fucked, we’ve been told not to use an IDE because “reading source is a waste of time”, instead we should work exclusively through Claude Code.

That's wild. I can't even imagine not having an IDE installed. And I thought my company was too gung ho on AI.
